Vice President — Maria Wardwell (Term expires 2010)

Maria Wardwell has been a member of the Footlight Club since 1983. In addition to her current role as Vice President she has served as Treasurer for the Footlight Club and as a member of the Trustees of Eliot Hall. She considers The Footlight Club her theater “home” and enjoys using the skills she has learned in business to help support the ongoing work of The Footlight Club and the renovations to Eliot Hall. After 15 years at BankBoston, where she held a number of management positions, Maria left to become an Account Executive, Facilitator and Consultant for Wilson Learning/McCourt Associates. Maria is a Cantor and Youth Choir Director at St. John’s the Evangelist Church, in Wellesley and performs in a number of professional and community theatres in the Boston Area. Maria lives in Wellesley, MA with her husband, Sam and sons Nathaniel and Ben.

Acting Development Director — Gabi Logan (Term expires 2010)

Gabi initially became involved with the Footlight Club by volunteering in the Box Office for Singing in the Rain but she was quickly hooked by the incredibly weloming environment and friendly people that run the club. Gabi was first bitten by the theater bug in high school where she served as TD for her school's repertory company. Before moving to Boston, she worked with the New Century Theatre in Northampton, MA and Theatreworks in Palo Alto, CA. She currently maintains a busy schedule stage managing for various Boston theaters and has had the pleasure this season of stage managing the world premiere Superheroine Monologues with Phoenix Theatre Artists, the dark and delightful Alcina with the Boston Opera Collaborative, the Elliot Norton Award nominated Voyeurs de Venus with Company One, and a smashing production of Noises Off with the Footlight Club. Gabi also works full-time at in the Development Office at MIT where she writes stewardship communications.
