Roe has been canceled.
We are very sad to announce that we've decided to cancel our production of Roe by Lisa Loomer. We didn't come to this decision easily, but felt that the events of the past week deserve time to process, recover from, and respond to both in addressing our larger culture as an organization and the specific procedures that exist to keep our community safe and welcoming for everyone. Roe's cast and crew have worked their hearts out on this production and we felt that as much as we want to support their wishes, we need time to do them justice. We believe it would be unfair to continue with the show in its current timeframe. We hope to bring Roe to the Footlight stage in the future. In the meantime, we are working diligently to research and implement short- and long-term measures to more closely align our organization with justice and equity. We appreciate your patience as we undergo this process, and commit to communicating clearly about our new and updated policies as they materialize. Ticket holders will be refunded.
