Were zooming and texting
“What the hell’s going on?”

“What no Carol Christmas
No haven so dear?
No Gaby, No Audrey
No club filled with cheer?”

“No theater warmed
By our laughs and delight,
No bringing a season
Of darkness to light?”

“Oh hush, now,” said Carol.
“Wake up, look around.
Don't you notice what’s happening
Stop being so down.”

“Our moment has come
Stop all the distress
Eliot Hall’s finally getting
ELE-VA-TOR ACCESS!”

The builders are in
The groundbreaking is here
A permanent ramp and lift
For our audiences next year.

So, time friends to celebrate
This dream has come true,
Twenty long years
Thanks to each one of you.

We’ll be back strong as ever
In 2021
