The Footlight Club is run entirely by volunteers. We welcome anyone who would like to get involved, whether that means you sing and dance, know your way around or lighting board, or are just really good at telling people where to sit. If you don't know anything about putting on a show, but you would like to learn, you're in luck! Our more seasoned volunteers are always happy to share their knowledge and experience.

Play Reading Committee

Are you a paying member of the Footlight club and interested in becoming more involved? We are currently recruiting members to join the Play Reading Committee for the 144th season of the Club. Commitment would be reading plays/ musicals on your own time and committee meetings twice a month (snacks included!). If you are interested, please fill out this form by Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Not interested in play reading but you have show suggestions for next season? Fill them in here.

Any questions, please reach out to our Artistic Planning Director, Kathleen Comber.

Historical Program Collection Archives

The Footlight Club's historian, Paul Campbell, joined forces with The Boston Public Library to gather an amazing collection of historic Footlight programs going back to the 1800's and make them accessible online! Scanned in high-resolution images and searchable, this wonderful archive is available free of charge at BPL Footlight Club Program Archive. Stop by and check it out!
